Rosehip Seed Oil is a light oil that is renowned for its moisturising effect on the skin. The pure rosehip oil absorbs quickly to leave the skin non-greasy and vibrant. Rosehip Seed Oil can be used as a moisturiser directly on the skin. It can also be infused with cream, lotion or massage oil to enhance the oil’s beneficial attributes.

Organic Rosehip Seed Oil benefits from having an array of Essential Fatty Acids and vitamins, as well as robust antioxidant properties.

Whar are rosehips?

Rosehip’s are the fruit of the rose plant and usually form in late summer and autumn, after the rose plant has been pollinated. The colour of a rosehip is usually red, although sometimes they can be orange or purple.

By using a cold press extraction process, the oil is then separated from the hips and seeds. Each fresh seed is then cold pressed to produce a light and dry oil.

How is Organic Rosehip Oil Made?

Our Rosehip Oil is always pressed fresh from harvest to preserve its potency and quality.

This freshly pressed bottle of oil was made from approx. 2kg of premium quality Rosehip Seeds.

Pure Rosehip Seed Oil is rich in Essential Fatty acids (EFAs), especially Omega 3 and Omega 6.

Rosehip Oil-Vitamin A

Vitamin A in particular can help to delay the effects of aging and assist in cell regeneration. Vitamin A consists of retinoic acid and other provitamins like beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is directly from the plant foods that we eat.

Almost all of our products come in recyclable glass bottles helping retain freshness and efficacy. We use paper packaging, paper adhesive tape and outer boxes which we shred and use to pack our orders. Our in-house printing uses vegetable inks and non-laminated labels. We recycle our waste, reuse our paper and card, and reduce our energy consumption to as low as we can.
